Information we collect

• Account information. When you register or sign in, we process your email address, account identifier, authentication and session information, and account access status.
• Messages to us. If you use the contact form, we collect your email address, the subject and contents of your message, and anti-abuse verification data.
• Billing and subscription information. If you purchase Full Access, we send your account identifier, email address, and selected plan to Polar. Polar collects the information needed to complete checkout, payment, billing, and tax processing. We receive and store customer, subscription, product, price, entitlement, and transaction-event information needed to provide your access and support the purchase.
• Technical and usage information. When you use the Service, we and our providers may process IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, session information, and interactions with site features.

How and why we use information

We use personal information to:

• create and operate accounts, maintain sessions, and provide the Service;
• process purchases, manage Full Access, and maintain transaction records;
• answer messages and provide account or product support;
• protect the Service, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems;
• understand how the Service is used and improve its content and functionality; and
• comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Depending on the activity and your location, we process information to perform a contract or take steps at your request, meet legal obligations, pursue our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service, or based on your consent. Where applicable law requires consent for Google Analytics, Google Analytics remains off until you allow it.

Analytics, cookies, and similar technologies

We use both Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics. Vercel Analytics provides aggregated, cookie-free usage statistics. Google Analytics helps us measure page views, sessions, device and browser characteristics, approximate location, and selected site interactions. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<measurement-id>, which may remain for up to two years unless you delete them or withdraw permission.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google Analytics does not load unless the visitor allows it. If regional detection is unavailable, we also ask first. Elsewhere, it may run by default, but you can turn it off below. Vercel Analytics remains active because it is configured without tracking cookies.

The Service also uses cookies that are necessary to authenticate users and maintain secure sessions. If you make an analytics choice, we save it in a necessary preference cookie named ai_analytics_consent for six months. Refusing Google Analytics does not affect your ability to use the Service.

Service providers

We use the following providers to operate the Service:

• Supabase for account authentication and the application database;
• Vercel for hosting and Vercel Analytics;
• Google for Google Analytics;
• Polar for checkout and billing;
• Cloudflare for Turnstile anti-abuse verification on the contact form; and
• Resend for contact-form email.

These providers process information for the functions described above and under their applicable terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell or rent personal information.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Where required, we and our providers rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or other safeguards for these transfers.

How long we keep information

We keep account information while the account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service. We retain billing, subscription, and transaction-event records as needed for access management, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and maintain relevant records. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the analytics providers, and the analytics preference cookie expires after six months. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it unless continued retention is required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No system or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, contact us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Polar separately determines how it handles information collected directly during checkout. Requests concerning Polar's own processing should be directed to Polar.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
